Elemental Movement Physical Therapy (EMPT) is a clinic grounded in the belief that movement is fundamental to human health, expression, and connection.

Operating from the understanding that pain, performance, and pelvic health are shaped not only by the musculoskeletal system, but by nervous system regulation, lived experience, environment, and emotion. Treatment at EMPT emphasizes curiosity over compliance, collaboration over prescription, and movement that is adaptable to real life. The goal is not simply symptom relief, but helping people feel safe, capable, and at home in their bodies.
Care at EMPT is not about correcting bodies or chasing perfection, but about restoring trust in the body’s innate capacity to adapt, heal, and move with integrity and balance.
The philosophy of EMPT is informed by interdisciplinary training across professional dance, yoga, martial arts, strength and conditioning, neuroscience research, and physical therapy. This lens supports a whole-person approach in which strength, mobility, breath, and coordination are integrated rather than isolated, and pelvic health is treated as an essential part of overall movement rather than a separate system.
Here, care is individualized, collaborative, and deeply respectful of each person’s history and goals. EMPT exists to support people in moving with more ease, agency, and confidence in order for movement to become not something to fear or control, but something to embrace and trust.
